Passing of a dear ALPS member in Canada – Goerge Xuereb R.I.P.

The Council of Administration of The Association of Lyceum Past Students – ALPS, 

extends deepest condolences to the grieving family of our colleague George Xuereb.

We shall remember him in prayer. Have watched and listened carefully to a memorial

church service at George’s funeral. Can honestly say, it was really remarkable to hear

such a wonderful sermon that the celebrant delivered at Holy Mass. 

George’s pleading at the gates of Heaven for admittance near to “ San Gorg on the horse “

is so very impressive. Not forgetting of course the other saints St. Joseph the carpenter, 

St Peter the fisherman, St. Luke the doctor and even…….. il-Malti San Gorg Preca….……

They all interceded before George Xuereb’s  admittance into the Kingdom of Heaven. 

ALPS, have fond memories of our dear Lyceum friend George Xuereb.

May he Rest in Peace  –  Amen.
