CELEBRATING THE FEAST OF ST ANNE AT Pwales 2025
The traditional celebration of the Feast Mass of St Anne will be held as planned on Saturday 12th July 2025. Mass will start at 6.00 pm and will be celebrated by our Chaplin Fr. William Bartolo.
Light refreshments will be served after Mass. The event is free of charge but donations are welcome to help cover costs.
Kindly inform the General Secretary by not later than Wednesday 9th July 2025 either by email darmanin.mark@gmail.com, SMS / What’s up or call on Mobile No, 99857431 if you intend to come. This would provide an idea of the number of persons attending and help prepare refreshments and other logistic purposes.
It is suggested that those present are to be seated on the chairs set up on the Chapel parvis between 5.30 – 5.45 pm.
As you are aware, space is limited and therefore seating is on a first come first served basis.
Parking is only permitted near the pumping station. Transport to the chapel is being provided from around 5.15 pm, then also at end of the event.
ALPS SUMMER BARBEQUE ON THE OPEN TERRACES RADISSON / GHAJN TUFFIEHA 19TH JULY 2025
One month into the Summer season, ALPS will be holding its traditional Mid-summer Barbeque on the open terraces of the Radisson Golden Sands Resort Ghajn Tuffieha. This is the right setting for watching a wonderful sunset and staying near the water’s edge to the sound of the sea waves and breathing some clean and fresh air.
A lavish menu for this occasion will satisfy your appetite to the full. The price shall be €43.00 per person and includes two glasses of wine and water. A welcome drink will be served at 7.30 pm; guests are advised to be seated at table by 8.00 pm.

PLATED STARTER Cured salmon quinoa and avocado timbal with lemon and herb oil
PLATED Ziti with Sicilian sausage, tomato fondue and friarelli
BBQ Grill Station
Grilled swordfish with mango, pineapple, and coconut
Grilled chicken breast with honey and lemon sauce
Grilled beef medallions marinated with garlic and rosemary. Grilled pork belly with BBQ sauce Selection of sausage
Grilled summer vegetable Corn on the cob Buttered new potato
PLATED DESSERT Lemon and strawberry layered cake, fresh lemon sorbet

Members forming part of a group or wish to be seated at the same table with some preferred guests are kindly asked to inform the Secretary General, Mark Darmanin, by furnishing the number and names of the guests; this will help him when preparing the table plan.
Special dietary requirements MUST be advised before the event, to inform the kitchen staff.
