ALPS PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE REST OF 2025
Dear Members and Friends of ALPS,
I hope you all had a blessed and enjoyable Easter.
Hereunder are the remaining ALPS activities planned till the end of 2025; please take note in your diaries and make your booking if you plan to attend.
Details for the events are as follows:-
SPORTS MARATHON AT LICEO GROUNDS ON SUNDAY 18th MAY 2025
ANNUAL GOZO RETREAT
The Association of Lyceum Past Students ” ALPS” will again organize its annual retreat at Manresa Retreat Home in Gozo between the 23rd and the 25th May 2025.
The following tariffs shall apply:
EUROS 55 00 PER PERSON PER DAY ON FULL BOARD BASIS
EUROS 110.00 PER PERSON FOR 2 NIGHTS ON FULL BOARD BASIS
EUROS 220 .00 FOR 2 PERSONS FOR 2 NIGHTS ON FULL BOARD BASIS
For t hose members and friends of Alps who wish to participate in the retreat ONLY:
LUNCH @ EUROS 20.00 PER PERSON
DINNER @ EUROS 15.00 PER PERSON
Rev. Fr Dominic Sultana will conduct the talks at the retreat between Friday evening 23rd May and Sunday morning 25th May 2025.
Bookings are open and we urge you all to book early as only a limited number of rooms have been made available; bookings will be confirmed on a first come first served basis .

ALPS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2025
The meeting is going to be held on Wednesday 4th June 2025 at the ex Liceo Building, Hamrun
GOZO DAY TOUR – 21ST JUNE 2025
The Association of Lyceum Past Students ALPS will be again organizing its annual day tour to Gozo – DAWRA M’GHAWDEX on the 21st June 2025. The programme for the event is as follows:
0800 hrs. Meeting near San Gwann Parish Church
0830 hrs (sharp) Coach leaves directly to Cirkewwa terminal
0930 hrs Arrival at Cirkewwa, to take the first available ferry boat to
Mgarr Gozo
1015 hrs Arrival at Mgarr, where we meet with our guide Chev Joe. M. Attard, board coach and proceed to Victoria visiting “Kunvent ta’ Santu Wistin u il- librerija u ix-xelter ” and Coffee break
1200 hrs Coach leaves for the Lantern Restaurant at Marsalforn, lunch to be served at approx 1230 hrs.
1430 hrs Coach leaves for Victoria to visit Il- Kappella gdida Bezzantina fil Basilika ta’ San Gorg .
1530 hrs Holy Mass at the Kappella ta’ San Gakbu in Victoria
1630 hrs We proceed to Mgarr Harbour to board the first available ferry boat to Cirkewwa
At Cirkewwa we board our coach and head back to San Gwann Parish church – End of tour

FESTA SANT ANNA AT THE PWALES CHAPEL
The Feast of Sant Anna will this year be held on Saturday 12th July, Holy Mass will be celebrated at 6.00 pm, followed by light refreshments.
ANNUAL BBQ
The ALPS annual BBQ is going to be held on Saturday 19th July 2025 at the Radisson Golden Sands Resort.
END OF SUMMER WEEKEND BREAK
To be held from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September 2025. Full details will be provided closer to the date.
CULTURAL VISIT TO VALLETA
The Cultural visit to Valletta is going to be held on Saturday 8th November 2025. Full details will be provided closer to the date.
CHRISTMAS WEEKEND BREAK
The Christmas weekend break will be held from Friday 5th to the 7th December 2025 at the Radisson Golden Sands Resort – details to be given closer to the date.
