SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – PRE-OPERA PREVIEW:

SOPERA BELLINI’S ” NORMA ” AT THE ASTRA theatre in Gozo 29TH October 2011.

A.L.P.S. council member Joe Fenech, will again this year be leading a sizeable group to the
sister island of Gozo to watch the opera NORMA by the famous Bellini, with singers of
International fame at the Astra Theatre on the 29th October 2011

And, to further make this event more interesting, a special Pre-Opera evening is being organised at
The Salesian Youth Centre in Sliema on the 27th October 2011 at 19.00hrs. Joe will dedicate the
entire evening to explain about Bellini’s opera ‘ NORMA ‘ and when it was first presented on stage.

Musical excerpts will also accompany the narration to even make this event more and more attractive to all who may attend.
The preview is not only being organised for those who are booked for this opera,
but it is open to everyone who has the Opera at heart.
