ALPS YULETIDE -WEEK-END BREAK AT RADISSON GOLDEN SANDS – DECEMBER 2025
Events organised by the Association of Lyceum Past Students during the past year
have come and gone, but they leave memories that shall never be forgotten. The
last event for this year culminated into a wonderful Yuletide week-end spent at the
Radisson Golden Sands Resort. Everything ran smooth from beginning to end. Pity
that the number of attendees for this years’ Christmas dinner, was much lower that
that of previous years. Nevertheless, all those who have attended, brought with them
smiles and a cheerful disposition to be happy together with those around them.

The management of The RGS, have yet again made our members and friends most
welcome. The food that was prepared and served during a special dinner on Saturday
6th December was to everyone’s satisfaction. The gathering was addressed by the
Immediate Past President of ALPS namely George Stagno Navarra who reminded all
those who were present of the glorious events that have been organised over the
past 31 years since inception of ALPS in 1994. Mention was made of the anniversary from
the passing of Founder President Dr. Guido Saliba. Great emphasis was made of the present
situation of the association. Membership keeps reducing and it is ever so hard to find
persons who can be willing to offer some of their time and serve on Council of Administration.
Auguring to Members and Friends of The Association of Lyceum Past Students, all the very
best for a Peaceful Christmas day with their loved ones and a Bright, Healthy and Prosperous
New year 2026.
