ANNOUNCING THE SAD PASSING OF Dr. Eddie Turner Ph.C and MD.,
M.M.S.A., D.R.C.O.G., D.C.H., F.R.C.P.,
It is with deep sadness that ALPS reports the death of Dr. Eddie Turner.
Only recently in February 2022, he was joining us for the Annual General
Meeting virtually on Teams and was ever so pleased to have been in the
company of other fellow LYCEUM colleagues. Eddie is survived by his dear
wife Carole and four children Mark, Paul, Peter and Suzanne. He will be
remembered for his great achievements in the medical field, sports and
for being Chairman of The Alberta Council for crippled children. When he
retired on turning seventy, he settled and lived in Salmon Arm and had a
cabin in Shuswap Lake Canada.
Eddie was a very keen member of The Association of Lyceum Past Students
and was one of the early past students to have joined ALPS. His last comment
in an article he wrote for The Chanticleer magazine ( pages 103-104 ) Eddie wrote,
“ Wishing all the very best to the ALPS committee who are doing sterling work
in keeping alive the name of the best school of Malta and Gozo.
Rest in Peace dear friend Eddie….We shall never forget you.
