Have watched and listened carefully to a memorial<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>church service at George\u2019s funeral. Can honestly say, it was really remarkable to hear<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>such a wonderful sermon that the celebrant delivered at Holy Mass.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>George\u2019s pleading at the gates of Heaven for admittance near to \u201c&nbsp;<em>San Gorg on the horse<\/em>&nbsp;\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>is so very impressive. Not forgetting of course the other saints St. Joseph the carpenter,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St Peter the fisherman, St. Luke the doctor and even\u2026\u2026.. il-Malti San Gorg Preca\u2026.\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They all interceded before George Xuereb\u2019s &nbsp;admittance into the Kingdom of Heaven.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ALPS, have fond memories of our dear Lyceum friend George Xuereb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>May he Rest in Peace&nbsp; &#8211;&nbsp; Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Council of Administration of\u00a0The Association of Lyceum Past Students \u2013 ALPS,\u00a0 extends deepest condolences to the grieving family of our colleague George Xuereb.
