It is with deep sadness that ALPS reports the death of Dr. Eddie Turner.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only recently in February 2022, he was joining us for the Annual General<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting virtually on Teams and was ever so pleased to have been in the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

company of other fellow LYCEUM colleagues. Eddie is survived by his dear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

wife Carole and four children Mark, Paul, Peter and Suzanne. He will be<\/p>\n\n\n\n

remembered for his great achievements in the medical field, sports and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

for being Chairman of The Alberta Council for crippled children. When  he <\/p>\n\n\n\n

retired on turning seventy, he settled and lived in Salmon Arm and had a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

cabin in Shuswap Lake Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eddie was a very keen member of The Association of Lyceum Past Students<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and was one of the early past students to have joined ALPS. His last comment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in an article he wrote for The Chanticleer magazine ( pages 103-104 ) Eddie wrote,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c Wishing all the very best to the ALPS committee who are doing sterling work<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

   in keeping alive the name of the best school of Malta and Gozo.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
